Ancient Justice

History's misdeeds and the brutal consequences that followed — from Ancient Egypt and Asia to Rome and Medieval Europe — brought to life for Sharkteeth Films through a predominantly 2D VFX package of 400+ hand-animated shots.

Ancient Justice walks the long corridor of crime and consequence. Secret plots, shadowy villains, and shocking punishments — from pharaonic Egypt and imperial Asia to Rome and medieval Europe — are rebuilt for the screen through expert analysis, research, and visualisation. Season 1's ten episodes treat historical justice as drama that still has to feel true.

Our work for Sharkteeth Films on this series is the clearest expression of the 2D end of our factual toolkit. Where most Sharkteeth titles run roughly ten percent 2D support, Ancient Justice is almost entirely 2D — a custom pipeline still delivering forty-plus shots per episode and more than four hundred across the season, with average shot lengths of twenty-five to forty-five seconds. Real-time techniques, limited 3D environment support, and custom 2D (and selective 3D) assets are hand-animated and finished in a pseudo-real grade: high craft, rapid iteration, and on-budget delivery without pretending every frame needs a full CG world.

Distributed internationally by Cineflix Rights — including a Hearst Germany pickup — Season 1 proves the same volume discipline that powers the 3D-heavy Sharkteeth slate can pivot almost completely into illustrated, graphic storytelling when the material demands it. The open announces that pivot immediately.
